How Palworld breeding works
Understand the basic breeding loop before choosing a parent pair in the calculator.
What you need
Build a Breeding Farm, place one male and one female Pal inside, and provide Cake. Once the farm produces an egg, place it in an Egg Incubator and wait for it to hatch.
How parent pairs work
Two compatible parents produce a specific offspring according to the game's breeding table. The same target can often be produced by many different pairs, which is why comparing routes matters.
Use the calculator for the pair, then verify in-game. This site publishes normalized routes from PalCalc v1.17.6. It is not an official Pocketpair source and game updates can change outcomes.
A practical workflow
- Choose the Pal you want to hatch.
- Compare the available parent combinations.
- Use parents you already own when possible.
- Prepare Cake and confirm the pair in your current game version.
